Aims and Scope
The Eurasian Journal of Human Capital and Development (EJHCD) is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to advancing high-quality, original research on the formation, utilization, and impact of human capital on socio-economic development in the Eurasian context and beyond.
The journal welcomes empirical research articles that are grounded in rigorous methodologies and offer fresh insights into the economic, educational, psychological, social, demographic, and health-related dimensions of human capital. Priority is given to work that bridges theory and practice, and that contributes to a deeper understanding of how human capabilities drive individual well-being, institutional performance, and societal development.
EJHCD encourages contributions that are:
- Interdisciplinary – drawing from economics, education, sociology, psychology, public health, demography, and related fields;
- Inter-professional – incorporating insights from both academic and applied sectors, including practitioners, educators, and development professionals;
- International – with a core focus on Eurasian countries but open to comparative studies and global perspectives that enrich regional understanding.
The journal aims to serve as a platform for scholars, policymakers, and practitioners to engage with data-driven, relevant, and impactful research that informs the future of human capital development across Eurasia.
