In particular, Presidential Decree No. PP-4860 “On Measures to Further Improve the System of Education and Upbringing for Children with Special Educational Needs” serves as one of the key legislative acts in this field. Moreover, the “New Uzbekistan Development Strategy for 2022–2026” identifies among its priorities (Goal 66) the improvement of inclusive education and employment systems ensuring the active participation of persons with disabilities in the socio-economic life of society, and (Goal 70) providing accessible and high-quality education for youth and creating conditions for inclusive education in the regions.

More than 30 people with disabilities participated in the event, which featured a comprehensive educational program. Alongside a research segment aimed at identifying key factors for employability, participants completed two core trainings: one on job readiness and another on psychological resilience.

HR Training: “Interview Without Stress”

This practice-oriented HR training focused on helping participants conduct job interviews confidently and effectively. During the session, participants:

  •  learned the structure of a well-written resume,
  •  reviewed common mistakes when preparing CVs,
  •  practiced writing cover letters,
  •  mastered self-presentation techniques,
  • rehearsed answers to frequently asked interview questions.

A unique feature of the training was a mock interview session with three professional HR specialists. This gave participants not only theoretical insights but also practical experience interacting with potential employers in a safe, educational environment with personalized feedback.

Psychological Training: “The Power Within Me”

Complementing the professional component, the “Power Within Me” psychological workshop was conducted by Kamila Adamovna Turakhodjayeva, a lecturer and practicing psychologist from Tashkent International University. The training aimed to foster a positive self-image, strengthen self-worth, and develop inner resilience—essential for building confidence and adapting successfully to the labor market.

Such events not only promote social integration but also create real opportunities for professional growth, self-realization, and active participation of people with disabilities in public life.
